These list are interesting sometimes especially when you see other ones on Google. Like some who would tell you Bush isN'T GRUNGE. STP IS another one who is questioned by the grunge experts. To me list is fair and comes close to what is the better of the 90s. I have no order as it makes those on these lists better than those not even mentioned who are solid bands.

Teen spirit is the worst nirvana song ever written. its not even grunge. in fact Nevermind isnt even grunge. Scentless Apprentice or Negative Creep or Mexican Seafood... all real grunge songs. Also Nirvana is way better than Alice in Chains.

In my opinion, Nirvana should be first, and then a tie for second between Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. Like someone else said, Alice in Chains' best song is not No Excuses, it should be one of their more definitive, heavier songs. What I'm saying is, it sohuld be Would. Also, although Smells Like Teen Spirit was Nirvana's most popular and influential song, their best song is Heart Shaped Box, no questions asked.

Um, Candlebox isn't Grunge. Candlebox is Post Grunge.

And of every Nirvana song you list as an example, you list the Pop one. I mean, "In Utero" has so much more Grunge than "Nevermind." You had so much more to work with.

This isn't even as much about opinion as it is about being accurate. If I could go on about my personal opinions, I'd have a lot to say, but this is your opinion, I guess... I'm sorry if I offended you.

what an idiot if u knew anything about grunge you would have put the band which started the whole scene off in this top ten Mudhoney instead u picked the 10 which every1 knows and not based on musical ability but on mere chart success no doubt you know sweet nothing of this kinda music and your had the cheek to choose smells like teen spirit as the best nirvana song like that song is a satire of bostons more than a feeling so maybe its time quit your crap and go home listen to some heartless band such as nickelback i think there terrible enough for u to listen to you chart piece of crap!
