A lot of people have told me that I don't post enough Metal related content. I would say that's a fair statement, but, would just note the fact that I don't hide my general disdain for the genre. I simply cannot relate to the genre nor have I ever been able to. Type O Negative is probably one of only a handful of Metal bands that I truly enjoy. They use melody at least as often as they scream and I find their sarcasm and humor to be extremely refreshing in a genre that all too frequently takes itself far too seriously. This, combined with Peter Steele's tragic death a year and a half back made it the right time to pay tribute to this underrated band.
