There is no denying that I have a complicated relationship with U2. Are they a good band? Of course. Are they one of the best bands of all time like Rolling Stone would like you to believe? Absolutely not. I guess my issue with U2 is that they are worthy of all the acclaim that they receive (Bono's douchiness also doesn't help though). In the past (as evidenced on an older list such as this one), this made me sort of lash out at the band. In more recent times, I've stopped blaming U2 for things that are clearly out of their control. Even though they disappoint as whole, they have about 15 great songs in their catalog, highlighted by the top ten below.
