Top 10 Velvet Underground Songs
Those of you who are familiar with the site know that my forte is definitely not classic rock. However, a band of Velvet Underground's caliber definitely deserves recognition. Velvet Underground is undoubtedly one of the most talented, influential and pioneering bands of all time. If the Beach Boys represented the sun of California, then Velvet Underground represent the grime of New York. They are the godfathers of punk rock, indie rock and most other art rock sub-genres. I must admit that I was late on their bandwagon, but boy am I ever glad that I've discovered these guys.
