Hey, I'm not proud of it, but I'm no longer ashamed to admit that I like the songs below. There have probably been thousands of articles written about Weezer's post Y2K meltdown. Even yours truly has jumped on the bandwagon in featuring them on my ignominious sell out list. I know that we Weezer fans tend to be a self-respecting and discerning type, but today I will give you some advice to accept post-Pinkerton Weezer: give your brain a rest and just listen folks. When I flip on "Hold me" or "Hang on" I try to forget that I enjoy Pavement and Radiohead and concentrate on the fact that I also like Katy Perry and Ace of Base. Weezer are what they are these days, so don't drive yourself crazy about it, just accept it (**Check out the best of early Weezer if you want to revisit a time when Weezer's music actually satisfied both head and heart**).
